After reading previous reviews and hearing the accolades of quick service I’m wondering if I was at the same restaurant, twice... now I’ve taken big groups to the same Smittys and both times I’ve been less then satisfied. I don’t believe smittys iscapable of efficiently serving a group of more then 8, we were a group of 22 earlier and recently 14, both times the wait timeswere really really long, over a hour between ordering and serving, by the time the last person got their order the first oneswere long finished and ready to leave. First group we figured eh we’re a big group so what if thy miss something here orthere, the restaurant was quite busy so we just rolled with it. Second group was (not) good at all, were 14 of us and maybe 10to 15 other customers, again well over a hour or so before we all got our orders and one was completely missed, we had oneserver between us who did everything from drinks to meals…..which was fine until we realized she was also serving other tables(and) running the bar at the same time, they were really understaffed. Food was pretty good but portion size seemed a bit smalland fries where really sparse, some plates weren’t hot, like they’d been sitting and waiting someplace, Our server wasfriendly and cheerful but definitely too busy doing other things. I’m a big tipper and gladly do so but that last outing was atough call, I have to earn my money too. Read more
