This place is SO CUTE! They have a ton of little gifts and household goods (like cards, stoneware dishes) and a good selection... of foods to buy, both pre-made and grocery items. The food is also AMAZING, the aioli is to die for, I could just eat it plainwith a spoon its so good! Great atmosphere, fast and friendly service. Will definitely come again! Read more

We are over the moon for the newly renovated Misery Loves Co, bringing back inside and patio dining along with a marketplace.... Took my daughter there for lunch. She had the kids chicken tenders and fries and I had the Fly By (a fried chicken sandwich)with their house made chips. The chicken was perfectly seasoned, light and flavorful. Went well with the Arnold Palmer on a hotday. My kid ate her meal and was delighted. Looking forward to trying more dishes. Read more

Ive heard nothing but good things since i got to Burlington and have wanted to get here. When i saw they had a roast beef... sandwich special i knew i needed to try it. Naturally i biked from uvm in a snowstorm to get it. Was it worth it? Well thesandwich was fantastic, it had a great tangy flavor from the horseradish cream and arugula salad, not to mention it came on aexcellent crusty baguette. That being said, it felt a little lacking in the meat department. The flavor/texture of the roastbeef was lost in the bread and arugula. A 21$ sandwich should NEVER have that problem... This sandwich is close to greatness-just not all the way there. Read more

SO disappointed. This is the most money I have ever paid for fried chicken in my life -- and I've lived in very expensive... cities and frequented plenty of pricey spots. $68 for a whole fried chicken is exorbitant. But I would have been okay payingthat much money -- I mean, after all, I paid in advance (sadly) -- if it had been at least decent fried chicken. Our mealwasn't ready when we came at the appropriate pick-up time, and that apparently was because they were leaving it in the fryer foran extra 20 minutes or so in order to burn it through and dry out the meat entirely. I assumed, of course, that we had a decenttake-out meal, and didn't check on the state of it before we drove an hour home. Imagine my surprise to look see this As perthe accompanying pictures, be forewarned before you pay SIXTY EIGHT dollars for a burnt, dry fried chicken. They should neverhave put that in a bucket to serve to paying customers. For SHAME, Misery Loves Company. You certainly lived up to your nameby providing us with quite an inordinately miserable meal tonight. Read more
