I?ve been a customer of this restaurant since I lived in the Concord area. I was so excited for a Winston location. This... location downtown is not representative. Honestly, I would never have found this place if my son hadn't taken me there. I'm so glad he did. The staff was friendly and... efficient. The pizza made my mouth happy. The crust was exactly what a pizza crust should be. The toppings tasted fresh, so fullof flavor and nothing at all like chain store pizza places. This was a real pizza! I loved sitting outside in the fresh air andwatching people strolling around, kids playing and everyone enjoying their food. Great food experience I plan on reliving often. Read more

Cugino Forno is a great pizza franchise that tries to keep the traditional pizza from Naples. Pizzas are made in wood ovens and... the ingredients and brought from Naples as well. Their flavors are exquisite, their desserts are delicious, and the common areasand surroundings are beautiful for three whole family. Pizzas are a little pricey, but it is worth it to try them. Excellent experience, excellent ambiance. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. You can order fresh pre determined pizzas, but... no customizing. You can also purchase frozen items to take home. Homemade desserts are available also: cannolis, macaroons,cheesecakes, others. Also gelatos. Prices are roughly $20 / pie and it is very good. Cooked in either a brick or stone oven, thecrust comes out nice and charred in parts, with a nice chewy crust. The sauce is tangy and delicious and the herbs and cheesesare fresh!!!???????? We'll go again and again. Update 11/27/22: Took the family tonight. Everyone LOVED it. We tried apepperoni, a white pizza and one with Calabria peppers. Wow!! Also met co-owner, Mahmut Ozbey, who runs the business with hisbrother. He stopped by to make sure we enjoyed our meal, then headed back to the kitchen.
