The food here was way past my expectations. I was driving around for 2 hours looking for some good home cooked food. I?m new to... Winston so I guess all soul food places close on mondays except for this one . The atmosphere was wonderful . I had friedchicken , cabbage mixed with collards and Mac and cheese . So glad I found this place tonight! I tried the whiting that comes with a small side of coleslaw and two sides. I'm not a huge... fan of fried fish normally but this was so good. I love mac and cheese, this was some of the best I ever had. Perfect even. Thebaked beans had great flavor, a little bit spicy but very good! Honestly I could make the collard greens and cabbage a meal initself... sweet, lil spice, and big chunks of meat. Scrumdelicion ????. And then there's the sweet potato cornbread...OMG.Nicest people and the cutest order taker. ???? Only suggestion I would make would be sweet tea, would be great with herdelicious meals.
