When we eat at this restaurant, we often enjoy it, but it really depends on who is working. There is one worker (perhaps... manager or owner), a Latino man who is very friendly and accommodating. When he is there, the service is great, and he seems toensure that the product will be excellent, even though he likely is not preparing it. We have found that when the cashiers areyoung and apathetic, the service is horrible and this is often when we also notice problems with our food. There is a lot ofinconsistency in the preparation of the bowls. Sometimes everything is perfect and it tastes amazing. Other times there is gobs of rice and very few veggies and protein. Sometimes the sauce is overwhelming, sometimes too sparse, (but at least inthat case you can ask for more). Sometimes ingredients are wrong or missing. I would also appreciate being asked if I/we needchopsticks or disposable utensils before putting them on the tray or packing them into a to-go bag in order to conserveresources. We often choose to eat with the metal fork or use our own utensils at home so that we don't make more garbage. Iworry that once the chopsticks have gone out to a table, they will get thrown out even if they have not been used. Read more
