To be honest I never leave reviews but felt like it was necessary.. me and my wife went for our anniversary. We did the vinias... favorites. Everything that came out was delicious! Fabio and the whole staff were polite! I guess they messed up my 2nd course,they sent it back before I even saw it, then Fabio apologize, I was brought a new meal and he took it off our bill! You can seethe pride they put into the cooking, it was definitely a great experience! Would recommend highly! Read more
What a wonderful experience we had tonight. We decided to try this restaurant as part of magical dining and we were not... disappointed. We started with the Romeu & Julieta and the Carne con queso empanadas and both were delicious but the empanadaswith the chimichurri were the star. For our main course, we both selected the pasta con funghi porcini et erbe aromatiche andthat was fantastic (and vegan!). We finished off with the dessert duos I go the chocolate pot du crème and te cuscuz de tapiocacon coco and my partner got the chocolate pot du crème with the VINIA caramel affogato. VINIA is a hidden gem in Winter Park. Great experience, Fabio and the staff are great. We did the Magical dining menu with the... wine pairing. The food was great, it took us into a journey to Brazil, Portugal, Spain, France, Italy and Germany with the foodand wine combination. Fabio took his to make sure that we and everyone in the restaurant were doing well and also talked thefood. VINIA has become one of our favorite restaurants. Absolutely the best vegan in Orlando in 2022. The owner (Fabio) is mostly a plant-based eater and the care put into the food is... far beyond the many Michelin restaurants in Orlando. A MUST do even if you're not vegan as they have a carni menu too. Food: wewent for "Fabio's Table" which is a rotating special menu that occurs every few months in addition to the base menu for our oneyear wedding anniversary. This was fixed five courses, all vegan, and absolutely delicious. The theme was Europe Meets Asia andwe had Paella Springrolls, Italian Bahn Mi, German Udon Soup, Peking Tempeh with French Mothersauces, and a Vietnamese / Frenchcrepe for dessert. I cannot begin to describe how each dish was an explosion of flavors, perfectly balanced, unexpected, andportioned (if you're not a glutton). We have been on a string of bad restaurants this past year and Fabio blew our taste budsaway. At the end of the meal, we were magically full and left without that horrible oily residue so many restaurants these daysleave in the mouth. It was healthy, but did not taste like it. Bravo! Service: fantastic. Every staff member was kind andattentive. Our tableside water was never empty and Fabio himself explained every dish, his inspiration, and wine pairing. Can'task for anything more. Atmosphere: cozy, modern, and beautiful with local artwork for sale on the walls. Sound is the onlyreason to be worried. There was a birthday celebration and the typical, entitled silver-spooners were really loud as soon asthey got one glass of wine in them. Improvement opps: almost nothing I would improve except two tiny things- 1. Some sounddampening high on the walls out of sight may help combat loud guests. 2. A better water filter. Winter Park water is straightpool water and even Fabio's current filter system couldn't make it perfect. Regardless, it was a fantabulous meal and we'll bereturning many more times to come! Read more
