I ordered a 6inch Couples cake for our anniversary last week. It was decorated with wedding icing and Yellow cake. It was... absolutely amazing. I ordered it online and was given a time and date for the pickup. The pick up and ordering process was abreeze. Can't wait to order another one. I saw the previous post and just had to leave my review, I am not sure what happened but I simply LOVE The Sweet Couple Bakery.... Staff and owners are the nicest people. I am a loyal customer, been going there for years. Every time nothing but the BEStcustomer service. All of their cakes are delicious, my favorites are the caramel pecan, honeybun and Oreo, but all are good. Iwent yesterday and got my cakes and EXCELLENT Customer Service ? And since they went there, I would like to say I Lovesupporting my Black businesses and it?s people and post like yours that hurt them? you don?t see people making theses type ofreviews for other establishments and major chains .. you don?t see ?I try to support ?. . Bad experience. Customer service was terrible. Very rude and short. I don't know if they will be around if they don't learn how... to treat their customers. I purchased a slice of cake and asked the young lady if I could order a cake for my daughter'sbirthday. She said they didn't do custom cakes just dessert cake. I asked her if they only did layer cakes and not sheet cakes,she repeated we don't do custom cakes in a smug tone and then said all of our cakes are layer. Still didn't tell me any pricesor if I could order a whole cake. I called back to speak to a manager. I told her what happened and she told me the same thing.I told her I wanted to know and if I could order a whole cake and the price, then I was finally told the price of their wholecakes. I told her the youg lady was very rude and not helpful, she said nonchalantly, "I will talk to her". She really didn'tsound like she even cared. It's a shame, they just lost a loyal customer.
