Had a craving for goat and I was in the area so I decided to try out their curry goat. It was delicious! I live in Milton and I... thought I?d have a few bites while it was fresh before I ate the rest at home? Needless to say, I finished everything in the carbefore I left the parking lot. The food here isn't bad and the serving portion size is worth the money. The only thing I don't like is they put way too much... gravy on the rice(I'm not a gravy person). Macaroni Salad hands down is the best!! Fried dumpling is perfect for me. Not a fanof the macaroni pie - a little dry. The service could be served with more of a friendly, smiling face I brought someone Irecommended and the lady behind the counter was so serious, her responses to questions were so cut off and to the point. Where a lot of places go wrong is they look at you as a single transaction, and don't think about your return business. This is... not that place. I found this amazing restaurant when looking for a place in the area that could cater/host my son's FirstCommunion luncheon. Reviews were good, so I came by and tried a few things leading up to the date - oxtail, curry goat, friedchicken, stew chicken, chicken soup, macaroni pie and the salads. Everything was fire! Consistently. They don't know how tomake anything bad. A bathroom tells you a lot about a place, and the restaurant is CLEAN. Pepper sauce on point. Coleslaw isshredded, portions great, price is a steal. Quality is unbelievable. I spoke to the lovely owner, Beverly, and it was liketalking to a long time friend. She is such an honest and genuinely kind person - so clearly passionate about what she does. The staff was accommodating - Bev literally made pepper sauce on the spot because they were out. I've never had the luxury ofputting as much oxtail gravy on my rice as I wanted. The food was literally the BEST I've ever had and our guests agreed. I'm not a connoisseur of food from the islands as I'm slowly getting accustomed to it I find it more and more better and... starting to enjoy my jerk chicken. Friendly staff cleanliness of this place is top notch. Too bad the washrooms are closed butI'm there to eat not to use their washrooms. I tried the chopped up jerk chicken which was very very good some mac and cheesewhich was excellent and the coleslaw was also very good. The rice provided was also good too much so that I couldn't finish itand I'm a big boy. But what I liked the most was the fried barbecued chicken I think next time I go I will have just a servingof that alone. Stuff is all friendly and helpful will definitely go back.
