I never understood the hype of this place. Even when they were going by another name & were in a different town I thought they... were meh. However my spouse liked their chocolate chocolate cake. So I called to order & my how times have changed. You used toorder & pay when you picked up. Now must prepay . And the cake was a smaller diminished quality of what it used to be.Definitely no reason to patronize this place when there?s so many better options around now. 2 stars cause the staff that daywas very personable. I want to thank Summit Cakery for two amazing custom cakes they recently made for me. Both cakes were a huge hit with our family... and friends. They created exactly what I wanted. While visiting from out of state I stopped by while waiting for family to finish at the nail salon. I bought a brownie (so good)... cookies for the kids (they haven't tried them yet) and a peanut butter cupcake for my husband. He loved it and said "that's howyou make a peanut butter cupcake". The only thing I would suggest is not putting cupcakes in brown bags. Frosting a got all overthe bag and it was a mess. The products were still yummy though and the bakery smelled so good. Read more
