My husband and I went to this dairy queen last night and we ordered hamburgers, cheeseburgers, chicken strip basket, pineapple... shake, oreo blizzard and health dilly bars. When we ordered they let us know it would take a minute as the food was cooked asordered. Which we were ok with. When we got to the window the young lady handed us our dilly bars which was a dented box so myhusband asked for a non dented one, then she gave us our ice creams and asked us to move forward to wait for our food. We waited20 minutes as we watched multiple cars come through drive thru and finally my husband went to ask for our food. When he went inour bag was to the side and the young lady so oh here is your food and put the last cheeseburger in and we left. We at thispoint were already upset as our ice cream products were melting which one was for our elderly mother. But when we got home ourfood was cold. My husband called to complain, in the hopes to have an apology and that isn't what we received. The young womanwho took our order answer the phone and stated she was also the manager and my husband explained everything to her and herexcuse was we drove home is to why our food was cold. He then chuckled with how ridiculous that was as we don't even live 10mins away, he explained this too her and she said yes see you drove home and he then stated again because we drove home our foodis this cold and she hung up on us. We were completely shocked and confused as to why us driving home is a reason for everythingthat happened. My husband tried to call back and they didn't answer the phone and so he left a detailed message as in hopesanother manager would call us or get a higher person we could talk to. Due to being understaffed the lobby is closed for service. No cust in drive thru so I called to ask if they could let a lone... cust in to place order. She stated the front registers were not set up for services which are literally 10' from the drive thruregister. Said, I needed to walk to window. Since I drive a large truck was my only option. While waiting for my 2 other peopleshowed up wanting to go into the lobby. This business would do better saying the drive up is closed and having the lobby openor be willing to hope help one person here 1 person there since they're not that busy. Read more
We used to come here all the time being locals on. But on our last trip in the staff were rude and acted like they did not want... us there. The whole place was dirty and not one of the tables was clean. The fountain drinks were out of order and the freezerwas empty. The whole place looks like it was going out of business. Slow, due to training new people, burgers had so much sauce the buns fell apart. Blizzards saved the star count because of there... being properly toppinged and mixed to the bottom. Fries were undercooked even after being asked for extra crispy. At least theburgers were cooked through. I'll try again.. hopefully a lot of training takes place and the learning curve is achieved.
