I had been hearing how great Rosies is for a while, so I may have set my expectations too high. I would say their food is on par... with the average truck stop diner anywhere in the country. Not bad, but not exceptional. Staff was very friendly, atmosphere washomey, food was fair to middlin. CFS was overcooked, eggs and biscuits were undercooked, sausage gravy was nice and creamy butnot much flavor. Hash browns were great. Read more

The food and the service was fantastic. It took a while to get food , but I think kitchen was short staffed, and it was fairly... busy. Our waitress was AMAZING she not only took great care of us and all her tables, she also went back and helped the kitchena few times Read more

Stopped by Rosie’s as I haven’t been there in years. Brought my Mom as her favorite place closed down recently and she was... looking for a new one. Needless to say, we found a new breakfast place for her. The place is just like I’d remembered it fromyears ago, the staff was amazing and super friendly and the food was perfect. Rosie’s has that old (clean) diner feel to itwith 70s/80s country playing, the staff treating you like they’ve known you forever, and food cooked just like you’d expect. We had omelettes and they were great. You could tell they weren’t like other places that skimp and add in pancake batter (yep, some places do that). The omelettes were cooked perfectly and had a great balance of filling (I had a Denver, Mom went with hamand cheese). The hashbrowns were fantastic; crispy but not over done. Mom had a biscuit which she said was good and I had somegluten free toast (I’m not celiac, but the staff even made a point of letting me know they were giving my butter instead ofmargarine as that has gluten in it; didn’t expect them to go to that level but what a nice touch). Good luck trying to finishoff a cup of coffee without getting it refilled; the staff are all over that and make sure you’re never looking at an emptycup. I’ve tried just about every breakfast spot (Rosie’s isn’t just breakfast though) between Longview and Washougal andRosie’s ranks among the best of them. Read more

The food is good but they were not busy at all when I walked into the restaurant. I ordered my food togo. I was missing a salad... from one of my orders and it was very disappointing. If someone places a togo you should always double check to make sureeverything is in the bag. I understand your short staffed but in order to make a lasting impression on customers you shoulddouble check orders everytime. Read more

Always a great place to stop when I'm working in town. My coworkers and I always come here when we have a job in town. Generous... portions for decent price. Food is always good, service staff is always friendly. The owner will come in and thank guestspersonally from time to time. Please continue to support this and other local small businesses.
