Always great place to eat. Their fresh salad is my fave! Staff are awesome, work hard, and very understanding.

Hubby was active duty for 27 years. Retired now for 6. If this is the DFAC at the hospital it is THE WORST one we?ve ever been... to. Cold, bland entrees. If we?re stuck at the medical facility we?d both prefer to just pick up a sandwich at the shopette orwait until we get home. Not worth it. Can?t comment on the salad bar but It looked okay. I have always taken my children to the Dining Hall at the AFB I was stationed at. As a Supervisor, I usually worked the next day... so I wanted to spend the day with them. I cooked our family Thanksgiving dinner on the weekend. The food at Pitsenbarger isvery good. This year I took my Daught, Granddaughter & 2 Great-Grandchildren. We didn't go until around 2pm (1400) so the lunchrush was over. There was still plenty at the salad bar. There was a wide variety of side items including Shrimp Ceviche,Puddings, Pies, Cookies, Cakes, Turkey, Ham, Roast Beef, Glazed Carrots, Corn, Glazed Sweet Potatoes, Dressing, Mashed Potatoes,Corn Bread, etc. Overall the food was very flavorful. The ham was a little dry, but still tasty. All of us were full & happywith our meals. The little bit that was leftover was taken home & will be consumed tomorrow. The atmosphere is nice & quiet withfootball games on all the TVs, but not load enough to interrupt conversations. We all had a very nice time. Read more
