If you want a good sandwich, maybe with soup, I highly recommend this place. They start by offering the table a small bowl of... Pickled vegetables (pickles, broccoli, cauliflower, carrots). The menu includes a wide assortment of sandwiches named afterbirds. Lunch meat or deli style salads such as tuna or chicken, are always fresh. They always have their own brand of tomatoor pepper jack soups. Variety of sandwich breads. Sandwiches are served with a single serving size bag of kettle style potatochips, with French fries available as upgrade. The quality justifies the price. We usually order their raspberry tea. Goodvariety of non-alcoholic beverages. Service is always good. Sometimes they get a little busy, but everything is preparedfresh, so a slight prep delay is acceptable. Read more
It was hard to navigate the menu as all the items were named after birds. Therefore, I really had to read the menu to see... exactly what everything was. No big deal right? Wrong! Kind of hard to read the menu when the waitress is coming at you everyminute to take your order. I get that places are understaffed, but I didn't like being rushed at all.
