Flavors weren?t horrible but I?ve always made sure to add extra rice when I order for delivery because they always skimp on it,... instead I decided to pickup today and did not see an option to order extra rice on the website. So I asked for extra rice once Ipicked up my order and they charged me $6 for this pitiful amount of rice in one container but the receipt showed ?2 orders ofextra rice?. We ordered a total of 4 entrees, and were only given two small containers of rice (minus the extra rice I paidfor). Paid $76 with the naan. The chicken was weirdly so rubbery, maybe it was extremely over cooked, or from the day before.Needless to say, we only chose this restaurant because laxmi?s was closed on a Monday. never again. Went out to dinner here on July 22nd. Our bill total came out to be $37.63. We did not leave a tip on the card since we left a... cash tip. A few days later, I look at our bank account. The debit card transaction amount was a whopping $49.63. Where did thatextra $12.00 come from? I believe they illegally altered our receipt, and added an additional tip without our permission. The food was rich! Flavor on point. The prices were a tad high. They did state on the menu that prices would be higher due to... covid but even before the price hike it seemed a tad high. There was one person working the tables and possibly helping the chefin the back but the diner's all seemed to understand. Overall, I'd still go back. They waited until after closing at 9 pm to cancel my delivery order, it's my last straw with this restaurant. So unprofessional.... The portions are too small for the steep price and they are stingy with extra rice. The 4 cubes of chicken they give you arerubbery and impossible to chew. You can tell it's prepared ahead of time resulting in the chicken being "cooked" twice andcausing an unpleasant texture. Very inconsistent flavors and spice levels. Sometimes the curry is thick, sometimes it's thin andwatery like soup. Quality depends on who is cooking I guess. They used to be delicious so it's a huge disappointment. On top ofeverything, lazy and rude management! They aren't willing to fix anything, they don't care about their customers judging by theother negative reviews. Not sure what happened to this restaurant but I will save my money and time by not ordering from hereagain. Read more
