Yakima has several great breweries, but this is one of the best! Not only do they have great beers, but they also serve great... food, have a great environment and great service. If you're looking for a casual fun place to have a quick beer and a bite toeat, or a place to hang with friends for the afternoon, this is a great choice. Read more
The atmosphere was cool and seems like a place I would go back to and hang out with friends. I tried a flight of beers, which... were pretty good, but the carbonation was off and not quite carbonated enough. I had a bratwurst, which was decent, but couldhave used a bit more flavor. I also tried the bacon candy, which, I mean come on, beer and bacon is ALWAYS a win-win situation.Everything was reasonably priced and service was good. I would go back again. Read more
Service was super slow when we went in for lunch. They weren't that busy at the time. It took about 10 minutes for the waitress... to take our order after we were seated. She never returned until she brought our food which was almost 20 minutes later and wewanted drink refills. We came for the beer, but they seem to specialize in selling beers with liquor or fruit added which IMO,is not what real beer lovers want. With a name like Hop Nation I thought they'd be more like a brewery or pub specializing indifferent types of regular beers. The food wasn't too bad, but with lack of real beer and slow service, we won't go there again.I think it's geared more for people who don't like beer to try flavored beer. Read more
Good beer somewhat different from other places. Poor service had to go up to bar to order and pick up my own drinks on both my... visits, when they were not very busy. Only 1 person working on a Saturday night. Booked a party there, confirmed with the owner.When we arrived nothing was set up, workers were unaware of the 15 people expected.
