I saw this bakery featured on local Philly tv station. I immediately purchased a variety of cake slices for household, family... review of cakes was ok, no one raved about it. A few weeks later as a birthday surprise my daughter purchased an entire wholestrawberry shortcake. My husband and I cut a slice and either of us could eat it. The cake was heavy, flavorless, dry, the icingwas whipped cream too light for the heavy cake and there was no more than 4 strawberries on the whole cake! We had to throw thecake in the trash, what disappointment and a waste of $50! Family agreed not to buy from this bakery again. Read more

In my search for a local bakery I found this place and I was so excited to try all the varieties of pound cakes offered, which... was a lot! Customers waiting in line were also very enthusiastic about the cakes (one guy runs 4 miles before coming here toindulge), so for sure these cakes were going to be spectacular, right - umm, not so much. They all looked delicious so I triedquite a few and I was disappointed in all. No flavor I tasted lived up to my expectations and although they look moist, theywere not, ugh. Cake was dry on the day of pickup, I was offered 5 slices of cake or half off the price of another cake for compensation. A full... refund or re-bake of my cake would?ve been adequate and pleasing reimbursement. It wasn?t my fault that the cake was dry. So inreality I donated $58.00 to the business, you?re welcome.
