We had a large group for my sister in laws birthday dinner last week. They had a reservation, for which, I'd like to point out,... if a restaurant doesn't have wait staff that is capable of handling a large party seated together, perhaps state as much whenthe reservation is being taken, and confirm if a party will need to be split. We arrived and were seated in two groups, farenough away from one another that conversation between the two groups was impossible. Upon asking if we could possibly put thetables together, we were told that this would be too difficult for the server. I'm not certain in what way this was going tobring more difficulty, but, we settled to stay how we were arrnaged. The salad bar was decent. Much better than I had seen itin the past. This was only my second visit to this establishment, and had it not been for such an important milestone gettogether, I honestly wouldn't have gone based on my previous experience. Concerning points- several people ordered the steaktips, medium rare, which arrived medium well and TOUGH. The one who ordered a well done steak, was served rare. He couldn'teven eat his meat and decided to not be fussy, just take it home, finish cooking it and eat it later. If you're just having anormal dinner, perhaps not looking for steak, and are looking for a decent enough salad bar, and have tolerance for somesnaffoos, sure, give it a try. If you're looking for steak the way you ordered it, and find yourself low on patience forissues... Maybe find another place. I remember coming here as a kid and its still as great as it was back then! This restaurant has been here forever but the salad... bar is still worth coming for on its own! I was already full before my main food came. Decent prices for a steaks and burgersalso! All the employees work so hard and very fast to make sure every customer was taken care of i was very impressed! Read more
After all these years it is still One of our favorite places to eat we hardly ever get dinners we just do the soup and salad... bar and we always leave there stuffed and the service is great Read more
