Happened to walk by this place when I was in the area and was intrigued. Never really had proper Egyptian or middle eastern food... before. I asked my coworker who is from Cairo, and he recommended I try koshary, which is what you see in the image. It wasreally good! It immediately reminded me of my mom's pasta fagioli (fazool) that we ate so often when I was a kid, but withspices like cumin added, and lentils instead of regular beans. I will be coming back to try more things! Read more
Friendly staff. My favorite was the Mango/Strawberry juice. Prices were a bit high, a falafel plate and drink was ~$15.
We ordered several dishes since we don't happen upon Egyptian restaurants every day. We had a couple of Chicken Shawarmas. We... also had a couple of other dishes. Everything was really good!
