Don't bother to respond KFC - you had your chance. I worked in food. I know how hard it can be, but some things are inexcusable.... 10 to 15 years ago we gave up on the two High Desert KFCs because of too many and serious mistakes and awful service. The one in29 Palms closed. But, based on a local business employee's recommendation, last monday 10-31-22, we thought we'd give 'emanother chance. No sooner did we get out of our vehicle, than someone in drive-through yelled at us that they were only open fordrive-through. I managed places - we had drive throughs. The priority is DINING IN. If you don't have enough people for both,close the drive-through, not the dining room. People want to wash-up, sit down, take a break and enjoy. It'll probably 10 to 15before we bother again...if ever. Read more
Always, always out of things. From their chicken to the biscuits. One time, I had ordered a couple of meals that came with... biscuits; I go to pay and get my orders. I get home and instead of the biscuits, they placed a cookie instead. Irritating as itwas, I just said whatever. 3-4 days later, I go and there is a sign that saids their oven was broke so they had no biscuits.Where was that sign when I went through. Even the times they open are not right. Sat in the drive thru for 20 minutes oneafternoon, but they never opened at 11, 12, or 12:20. If they are about to close, they tell you they are out of it, or theirfryer is getting clean, or they just close earlier then the time said time. *Had to edit this review to say, HOW FREAKING RUDETHE FRONT PEOPLE ARE. I rated this place as 5 stars over 3 years ago. But over the course of time, KFC has always messed up my order. Over the last 15... times I went there in the last 3 years, they have messed up my order 13 times. Here are some examples of how they messedup: Overcharged for food, missing food, missing sauces, overcooked fries, wrong drink, no straw, and many more issues. I lovethe food, but it's not worth it to go here. Recently, they've only been opening at 12 PM which makes lunch breaks a nightmare.You're much better off going to Popeyes for reliable food and better customer service. Read more
If I could give less than one star, I would. Not only was I overcharged over $10 more than the menu price showed (which somehow... slipped by me without notice until several hours had passed), but my 12pc family meal was missing the mashed potatoes, gravy,and ALL SIX dipping sauces. Won't be going there again anytime soon...only to show them my receipt and get my money back Read more
