Just ordered delivery, have to say food was amazing! Sausage pizza flavor was great. Arugula salad with carrots and pickled... onions and especially the fennel, fantastic. Also ordered the Alteo Chianti, great with the meal. I know restaurants are havinga hard time with staff and costs these days so it’s great to see a place really doing it right. Thanks to everyone there. Can’t wait to eat in house. Read more

I went to oven and shaker a few times and here is what I have to say. None of the cooks wear gloves while making food, the pizza... crust is burned most of the time, the pizza is lathered with cheese to the point where all you can taste is cheese, and anemployee there by the name of Marcus acted very condescending towards me during a few of my visits for a reason unknown to me.The only good thing I have to say is that the service is good but the food is not worth the price. Unless you want burnt cheesyfood for a high price I recommend you look elsewhere. Read more

Happy hour is till 5:30 and a lot of options on happy hour menu. I loved the pizza and service was good. They do accept... reservations even on Friday nights and there where empty seats which they were waiting on people to show up while walk-incustomers had to wait for a long time. Read more

The good: Nice, modern chic look to the place. The service was fast (too fast? See below) and friendly. Good beer selection,... interesting cocktails and a pizza special when we were there. Overall, an elevated pizza restaurant experience, ambience-wise,and the libations will appeal to a wider range of customers who don\'t want the typical pizza parlor offerings.\n\nThe bad: Thepizza was wood fired, but was more akin to New York style pizza, which I hate and avoid. I think the pizza is supposed to bemuch more crispy, but we had to fold the flaccid pieces in half in order to be able to eat them without a fork; it wasunderdone, in my opinion. I loaded up my leftovers in a toaster oven at home, and achieved the proper crispiness in under 5minutes. I also felt the toppings were a bit \'subtle\', and it was a challenge to detect some of them. This caused the flavorcombination to miss the mark for me.\n\nI will note that we had reservations for 8:15 on a Thursday night; the only slot I couldget. We didn\'t get seated until about 20 minutes after that, and close of business was a mere 25 minutes away. My guess isthat the order was rushed due to the late hour, and that this is not representative of what most people who give 5* reviews get,but if that\'s the case, service shouldn\'t be offered after a certain time of day.\n\nThe hosts asked (3 times) if we wouldlike to take some hightop seats, as those were available, whereas the table we had reservations for was not. A plus to thestaff for trying to be accommodating. I declined the hightop table due to the fact that the stools were similar to the middleschool art class kind of stools (although there was a bit of cushion), with no back support. I think many people wouldn\'t careabout that, but it seemed incongruous with the overall style of the place, and I just didn\'t feel like sitting on a stool.\n\nImight be willing to give this place another chance, but I would certainly ask if the intended outco Read more

A lovely happy hour menu. Their Bourbon maple citrus drink was quite tasty & not cloying at all. Fried chick peas could have... been crispier. Perfect wood fired pizza. Very friendly & attentive service by Cassandra. Read more
