I was so impressed with this place! I usually don't order biscuits and gravy from a restaurant. I asked the waiter what he... thought about the biscuits and gravy. He said that it was very good. He said they make their own biscuits as well as gravy fromscratch. He was right! The biscuits were tall and fluffy. The gravy tasted like my grandmother's. Thick and delicious. I don'thave any idea where they get the sausage links but I haven't had sausage's that good in 36 years. My husband and I are on ananniversary trip, but we will be back! Read more
It was a Saturday so we had to wait for a table but that wasn't too bad. We had a fabulous waitress. Perfect with coffee... refills. Friendly but not intrusive. She was just great. The only reason this doesn?t get 1 star is because our current waitress was very sweet & actually working hard. Otherwise our... experience was horrible. On the way to being seated we were informed ?just so you know, we close in 20 minutes?. We asked if itwas still ok to be seated & order & eat in since we were headed out for our 3 hour drive home. The host said ? yeah? showed usthe rest of the way to our table then walked away. Our waitress was very sweet and didn?t rush us at all, even though we weretrying to get ordered quickly to not keep anyone there too late. When our food came out, our toast (white & English Muffin) wasburnt, and our eggs & hash browns were undercooked. Because we didn?t want to make a fuss, we ate what we could and left. Whilewe were eating we witnessed almost all the other employees on their phones. The only people we could see actually working wasour waitress & a man that was vacuuming (basically the whole time we were there, which didn?t make for a pleasant experience,either. But we did appreciate his work ethic as he was likely doing as he was asked to do). We were definitely very let downsince we read so many positive reviews!! If they want to close at a certain time, they shouldn?t seat people to be served.Everyone should get the same dining experience no matter when they arrive, if they are willing to serve them.
