Wings were all overcooked and stringy. Garlic parmesian was oily and the bourbon sauce tasted like cough syrup. Super nice spot... and really nice staff. Maybe the chef was just off that night. Odd that wings are what these guys are known for and it was thewings that all sucked. The cheese fries tasted fine. Also: be sure to avoid the water... it tasted like straight toilet waterand bottled water was apparently not an option. Read more
I love velocity wings as most people in this town do. They have amazing wings (duh) and normally amazing food. I ordered takeout... tonight, cheese fries and the Kids Mac and cheese. The cheese fries are great. They smell amazing and look amazing. I?m moreupset that I paid 8 dollars for Kraft Mac and Cheese. Before anyone says it?s not, Kraft has a distinct taste and look. I getI?m also paying for the fries, but the main thing I ordered was the Mac and Cheese. It?s just a little disappointing. If I wantKraft, I?ll buy Kraft. It certainly won?t cost me 8 dollars. Sonny is the best bartender ever!!! Mary & Brittany are amazing too. Hands down best in town. The management staff (Joel) is... great. Always hospitable. Best food in purcellville. Eat here at least 4-5 days a week. Tried more than half the menu and it?salways delicious. Love it here! Read more
