Wings were all overcooked and stringy. Garlic parmesian was oily and the bourbon sauce tasted like cough syrup. Super nice spot... and really nice staff. Maybe the chef was just off that night. Odd that wings are what these guys are known for and it was thewings that all sucked. The cheese fries tasted fine. I love velocity wings as most people in this town do. They have amazing wings (duh) and normally amazing food. I ordered takeout... tonight, cheese fries and the Kids Mac and cheese. The cheese fries are great. They smell amazing and look amazing. I?m moreupset that I paid 8 dollars for Kraft Mac and Cheese. Before anyone says it?s not, Kraft has a distinct taste and look. Sonny is the best bartender ever!!! Mary & Brittany are amazing too. Hands down best in town. The management staff (Joel) is... great. Always hospitable. Best food in purcellville. Eat here at least 4-5 days a week. Tried more than half the menu and it?salways delicious. Love it here! Read more

This place used to have some of the BEST fried pickles around. I don?t know why they changed the way they made the fried pickles... but it is so upsetting. The old recipe was crunchy and had a nice dill pickle flavor. The new recipe is bleh. The fried picklesare as crunchy as a flaccid member and mush on the inside. I?m disappointed. Read more

I'm not sure how you mess up hot wings, but they do it here. I've been here twice now and each time it's been below mediocre.... Wings are tough and leathery, not crisp on the outside and moist on the inside. Sauce is subpar. And everything tastes like itwas cooked in old oil. And for all that, they're overpriced to boot. 20 wings = $20. They're pretty much the only game in townthat specializes in wings, but you're better off skipping this one. Read more
