We always stop here for coffee and lunch on the long drive between Vancouver and Prince George. It can be very busy at certain... times of day so be prepared for a line-up. That is a reflection of how good the place is. I love their sandwiches. The fancycoffees are excellent, as is the matcha latte. Read more

Drove all the way down from Williams lake on the hunt for soup and sandwich. This was great! A bowl of heart, well priced chili... was two thumbs up. The homey atmosphere was nice and wifi was strong to answer some emails :) only complaint was that mysandwich wasn?t toasted! Make sure you ask ahead for this Read more

Cozy and cool cafe with nice seating areas. Most food overpriced, some things quite reasonable. VERY small wrap for the high... price you pay. ?Coleslaw? was just shredded lettuce and carrot with mayo.. Read more

Good menu, lots of selection. Only restaurant I have visited that offered KETO Bread. I had to ask, but then had my first... sandwich in a restaurant in years that I didn't have to "cheat" to eat. They understood that gluten free does not mean Ketofriendly. Food was delicious, a Monte Cristo sandwich and Moroccan soup. Atmosphere was inviting, staff were friendly, and placewas covid respectful. Would definitely visit again on our journeys through 100 Mile House. Read more

I highly recommend trying this place if you haven't before. I had the soup and sandwich deal for lunch; the sandwich was good,... the beef barley soup was phenomenal. My son had the side mac and cheese, which was delicious and a good portion size forhim. I will say that you can expect to pay a price that reflects the quality of the food and beverage. The portion sizes arenot huge, but frankly I was expecting that with this type of establishment. If you're hungry, order a bit extra, you won't bedisappointed. The staff were friendly and helpful, the atmosphere was perfect "cozy-cafe". The iced latte was really good, andvery reasonably sized. Bottom line: I might drive up from Vancouver just for that soup. This was our second visit to the Chartruese Moose. This time, we brought the boys and fed the whole family. We each had a... different food dish. The food tasted great, but the meal portions were extremely small for the price we paid for lunch for afamily of four. I was hungry very soon after eating lunch here and had to get a snack before dinner. This would be a greatplace to come for a coffee and sit down to read a paper or catch up with friends. The atmosphere was great; however, we sat inthe raised chairs and they were the most uncomfortable chairs I have ever sat in. Make sure you sit in the lower chairs or onthe couches. I would come back here to try a coffee, but as for eating a meal, I would be inclined to fill my belly elsewhereat this time. Read more
