The parking lot is too small. The manager during lunch hour could help enlighten the atmosphere and greet the customers as they... come in. When ladies are out at lunch, it would be nice to invite them into the dining area instead along side of a brick wall,where we were placed. The Crab Cake Dupuy has green peas in it, bit of a turnoff, awkward. The seafood fettuccine Alfredo waspretty good. This place has potential to be even better. Read more
We asked for fried seafood combo. We got what they wanted us to believe was grilled. Stuffed crab was all stuffing and hints of... crab,stuffed shrimp was covered in the same nasty stuff they put in the crab shell, 3 tiny shrimp,and the oysters, well that'sthe brown flat things in the plate.The fish had no flavor at all. My sweet potato was burnt on the outside but cold on theinside. My husband did like his fries. The dinning room closes at 2p.m so they had us sitting in the bar. The waitress reallycould careless that we were there. Worse birthday lunch/dinner I've had in a long time. Will not go back there. Everyone said itwas a great place to eat. Dupuy's is what I call a off the beaten path gem. Not near anything you intended to go to but you end up here because it's worth... the drive. Density, the bar tender is so nice and recommended the steak and wonderful crab claws. ????. If you have thechance to make it here, go! Read more

Heard this place was well worth the drive from Jennings to Abbyville. We had fried alligator. It was good, the sauce was... excellent. We ordered the "grilled" platter, it came out as fried. It had fried oysters, stuffed shrimp, some kind of breadedfilet and stuffed crab with onion rings as our side. My husband and I shared a plate. We were full. It was a little pricey forwhat we got. $50. We got there about 11:30 on a Wed for lunch. It was packed by the time we left. Read more
