Name change, to “r restaurant” great menu, large bar and restaurant. Very posh.. highly recommend this place to check out.

This new location on Simon Ave in the Sandman hotel parking lot is the best. I’ve eaten here a few times now and I can’t say... enough positive things about it. From the staff, the quality of food and the ambiance is amazing. The service I have received onthe several visits has always makes me walk away smiling and excited about the next visit. The greeting and service was good. My husband's schnitzel Oscar was great. I should have ordered that because my roast lamb was... disappointing-dry and tough. The veg was carrots, some of which were cooked to death, some perfectly al dente and some crisp andcrunchy. Our food came very quickly so we were in and out in under an hour; perfect if you're in a hurry, not so much for adate night dinner. I'm glad we tried it but won't rush back. Read more

We came to this restaurant to hear a friend play in the band Blues Hoodoo. We wondered how a restaurant as a venue would work... out and we were pleasantly surprised. We came an hour early and enjoyed dinner before the show started. The service is flawlessand the food very good. We will be coming back in the future just to enjoy the place without a band playing. Took my daughter for dinner tonight and it was 10/10. The food and desert tasted great. This is also a Family friendly place as... well & has Great staff! I strongly recommend this place to anyone looking to go out for a nice evening with or with out kids. Read more

Upon arriving to R we were warmly greeted. We had reservations and we were directed to a table by Kelsey. We ordered drinks and... such were promptly placed in front of us. The restaurant was very clean and the atmosphere was modern and very inviting. Afteran appetizer that was wonderful we looked at the menu of which was very diverse with many options. The main dishes delivered andpresentation of such was excellent. Portions were carefully placed on the dishes and looked wonderful. The food was spectacularand tasted great. As we continued eating we were regularly checked on by Kelsey and the Manager stopped by as well to just sayhi and ask how things were going. That spoke volumes. Upon completing our main dishes we all discussed how great the food andservice was. Desert was to follow and of course was on par with the excellent food served prior. On this occasion we werecompletely satisfied with our experience at R. We will not hesitate to refer people to this establishment if they are lookingfor a great meal in a great atmosphere. Read more

I enjoyed the Spicy Italian Prawn Linguine, the pasta was cooked to perfection and it had an excellent meat to vegetable ratio.... The garlic baguette could use a little more garlic but the bread was amazing. The restaurant itself is immense, the staff isfriendly, polite and attentive. I enjoyed myself and had a great meal. My mother had the Chicken Schnitzel Oscar she would havepreferred some butter on the rice bit enjoyed the meal all the same. Read more
