When I moved to Abbotsford it took quite a while before I found really good Japanese food that my daughter would like. Akane is... Langley is her #1 this is a very close second, as we have only been there twice. Sashimi was fresh! Tempura was delicious.Teriyaki Chicken Don was very well prepared. Was not the biggest fan of the sushi there. Taste was good but not to what I am used to at other places.

We grabbed a quick late night bite here on our way to the Abbotsford airport. We got an assortment of rolls (dynamite,... caterpillar, rainbow, chop chop) and the deluxe tempura. The tempura was delicious with a light, fluffy batter and flavorfuldipping sauce. The rolls were great, not too much rice and nice fresh ingredients for fillings and really decent prices($6-12).
