Had the Yaffa Chicken Shawarma and it was amazing!! Everything was so flavorful even right down to the rice! The rice had so... much flavor I was blown away. The chicken was seasoned perfectly and not over done and not drowning in sauce. The portion wasgenerous for the price, I had to split it into 2 meals because I couldn't finish. We stopped in on our way to Vancouver and were delightfully surprised with the food and service. Although we thought it was more... of a restaurant, but it's more similar to a donair kind of place. However, the shop was very very clean, bright and spacious andthe service was very friendly and quick. The guy working there made great suggestions for the menu and could easily read betweenthe lines to alter the food to fit our taste. The food itself was fantastic!!! We got the Arabic schwarma and it was SO SOdelicious - cooked with spices but not spicy, then toasted and finished off with a white sauce on top. The fries were also extracirspy and fresh, and the salad has some kind of vinegarette deessing. I would absolutely recomment stopping in here! Read more
Wow! Best chicken shawarma first of all. Chicken is bright and flavourful, sauces are addictive and made with care for getting... small details right. Had some muhammara flatbread as well and really enjoyed it. You can (and you should) buy the house madegarlic sauce to take home. Super friendly service too from a passionate owner. Highly recommend. It?s a much needed restaurant in Abbotsford, considering we don?t have any authentic arab/mediterranean food here. We ordered... chicken plates, it was very well cooked, the spices and sauces were very authentic and rich in taste. One plate is more thanenough for a person, we did takeout for the remaining food. Came in the other day, and noticed a name change to this place... I like coming in for their salads as I have very short lunch... breaks. I asked the gentlemen if I could just get a plate with different salad mixtures (fattush & tabulli) and somehummus... Ended up paying $15 for a light handful of cut-up lettuce and 2 tablespoons of hummus... My eyes were fooled; I getmore veggies in a 6inch sub!
