Cute place! Can?t believe how long it took me to get here! The decor is reason enough to visit. The food was good, too, although... Awesome place to eat for delicious meals along with decent portions. The restaurant decorations take you back in time. I sit... at a different table have a different view. The staff is very friendly and make you feel at home. Everything is cooked fresh,so factor that in when going there to eat. Dinner peak hours are busy with dine in and pickups. They offer a free desert withyour Entree. I like the menu selection and the daily specials are great as well. I highly recommend this restaurant for familydinners or group gatherings. The food was delicious! We got the appetizer sampler and could have eaten 3 more. The portions for our lunch were huge and I was... very jealous of every meal that came out of the kitchen. I wish it was closer because I would eat there all the time. It took45 minutes to get our appetizer but I'm sure it was due to staffing issues like most businesses. Our server was excellent. 4/5 everyone was extremely polite and accommodating! Chicken salad sandwich - extremely creamy and flavorful chicken. Very... juicy as well. Really good eat! Showed up at 730pm for dinner after baseball. The place was only half full. Nice decor and atmosphere. We are from out of... town. We were seated immediately, got our drinks and were given some pickled beets. We ordered a cheese steak, fish,a salad andoysters/crab. Waited 90 minutes for food. They closed at 9pm and at 855p the only thing we had been given was asalad. Unfortunately the wait staff didn't tell us there would likely be a long wait. They never apologized or took ownershipfor the experience. Staff was politely negligent, preferring to avert their eyes and ignore us each time they walked by. Theywere clearly understaffed. Another local diner said they'd never seen the place like this. The cooks were prioritizing carryout orders instead of diners. And some large carry out orders.We decided to pay for the salad and leave. I would not recommendthis place unless they are able to hire new staff. Read more
