I ordered the sirloin 8oz, and it was cooked to perfection. I asked the waiter if I could substitute the side of mashed potato... for salad, and he said it was not possible. The salad looked like a soup with lettuce since it had more dressing thanvegetables. A minor incident that won't prevent me from returning to this place or recommend it, but I feel it necessary toshare happened when I entered the restaurant and was asked how many people were in the reservation. I said two. The lady told meto wait for my friend. I asked if I could wait at the table since I was thirsty. She noted that the business rule is not to givea table until everyone is at the restaurant. Weird. I would encourage the managers to have friendlier "rules," waiters, andhostesses. Read more
Sooooo good. Was told about this place so we wanted to try it out and it did not disappoint. Just me and the husband so we sat... at the bar. Service was great and every bit of the food phenomenal, cooked to perfection. I had the filet and the husband gotthe ribeye. Highly recommend this place. Read more
On our way to Colorado for vacation my husband and I stopped to eat, we heard about this place on the Texas bucket list t.v show... as the best place for steak in Texas. Boy, they were not kidding! I had the 10oz new York strip, and he ate the 45oz ribeye.And that was an amazing steak! Tender and full of flavor, the green beans and tomatoes, and mashed potatoes, we're yummy, thesalted caramel cheese cake was delicious. The staff was very friendly. We were traveling through and this place was highly rated. It was very clean and I liked the... atmosphere. The food was hit and miss. The grilled veggies were great. The oysters were gritty and tasted very fishy. The kidsgrilled cheese is not what a typical grilled cheese would be, my kids hated the white cheese used and wouldn't eat it. I tastedit and didn't like it either. The chicken strips are a better kid choice. The burger looked amazing, but when it first came outit was raw. Like blood raw. They re-cooked and it was great! The manager should've come by and apologized for serving a rawburger... But did not. The brisket stuffed avocado was excellent!!! I would absolutely go back again just for that! In town for work. First time dining here and was not disappointed. Escargot appetizer was delicious and my 10oz Filet was... perfectly cooked and delicious as well. This places lives up to the hype. Would dine here again. Read more
Good variety, decent priced steakhouse. The escargot was excellent. Loved the sauce and crustni it came with. Burgundy... mushrooms a bit over powering. Way too tart. The bread was to die f or. Hot and brought plenty of butter for it. They had agood selection of choices to choose from. The prime rib was the best I have had in a long time. Cooked just right. Super big. 2 people could almost share it. Sides ok. Could have a few more choices. Great customer service. Everyone super friendly. Read more
I had high hopes for the beehive restaurant. Ultimately I was disappointed. We ordered the prime rib, medium well and it came... out lukewarm. It's alot of meat and I'm sure some would love it. To me it was pretty bland and definitely not worth the price.The roll that came with it was hard as a rock. I will say my baked potato, salad, and spinach dip was great. The service wasamazing, our waitress and all serving staff were awesome. The atmosphere not so much. You sit so close to other guests that youcan't even hear the person you are with speaking. Overall I probably would recommend it to anyone who loves meat and hope to goback one day to try sometimes lighter like a hamburger or something. We shall see. Read more
