Thanks to Kyle Johnson for putting... together a fabulous menu for us consisting of a shrimp cocktail for starters, a salad, ribeye steaks, bacon wrapped asparagusand baked sweet potatoes. Nasty food. Was very disappointed. Did not have item we wanted. They offered substation. The potatoes were left from night... before. Absolutely to much butter, nasty tasting. Food made me ill and I had a horrible might. There was 4 in our party and noone liked the food. The waitress was hateful. Never ever going back. Read more

I?m from GA and where I come from there are a lot of hole in the wall bbq places that are amazing. I was impressed with Betty... Rose?s. I ordered ribs, pulled pork, and their famous brisket along with potato salad and green beans. The meat was juicy andthat?s not always easy to do with bbq and brisket especially. Kudos! Wonderful BBQ place in Abilene that still has a small homely feel. Ordered the special pulled pork tacos and pulled pork... sandwich. So yummy with a tasty smoky flavor and tender! The BBQ sauce is very good too. The onion rings are the best I have hadin a long time, crispy and buttery tender o the inside. And don't forget dessert, banana pudding for the win! Alright so this place has good vibes. The problem is that it?s the same price as the shed and the shed tastes 10x better. No... exaggeration. Also when they have music performers it was incredibly loud and couldn?t hear the people I was with sitting rightnext to me. Read more
