We had not been here in a long time. I had a bacon cheese burger (medium rare) and onion rings. A very good burger. Onion... rings were tasty but a bit oily (it's an indulgance!!!) Watch carefully for your order and don't sit near the soda machines,they are loud. Read more
Loved the special burger, fries, & drink for $9. Quick, good price, in & out under an hour at lunch time.
Super expensive. Burgers and shake was great but not $52 worth for 2 burgers, 2 kids meals, a small fry and a shake. Ohh and... the fries were old and cold. So. Old they started to shrivel up. Read more
I've been hankering for a good burger for a while now, so based on a Google maps recommendation I stopped at Blue Sky. It was my... first visit there, but not my last. The restaurant was very clean. Food is ordered at the counter, menu on the wall before thecounter (so I didn't even see the menu until later). I got a bacon cheeseburger, fries (nice and golden brown, yum!) and adrink. The food was freshly made, veggies were crisp and fresh and the fries were hand cut. There were a couple of familiesthere and the kids seemed happy with their food. It's a family friendly kind of place. The staff was helpful and friendly,restrooms clean and well stocked. I was quite surprised by food and my tea. I don't remember the proper name of the plate. But is was two meat patties with... grilled jalapeno, onions smothered in queso. And ya order of sweet potato fries. I believe it was 14:99..I think but I felt itwas well worth it! I had enough to make a sandwich that evening. If you're looking for a great burger, this is your place. We had the green chili cheese burger and the Texas cheese steak, and... both were great. I'd give the cheese steak the leg up if I had to choose one. The only surprising thing was that for bothburgers the green chilis/jalapenos came on the side, I feel that they would have been better mixed in the meat. Still both weregreat burgers. We also ordered the half order of green chili cheese fries and they were equally great. The half order was morethan the two of us could finish, so be prepared if you go with the full order. Kids had the vanilla shake, which I did not try,but they said it was great. We visited while in Abilene for the Thanksgiving holiday, and we plan on returning next chance weget, so if you're in the area, I'd highly recommend. Read more
