This place lives up to the name and the ratings are accurate, this bbq is delicious. I really like their house made spicy bbq... too. Adds a little heat and tastes great. Wife got the 3 meat plate and I got the "meat sweats". Boy was it good. The picturesspeak for themselves. If your in the area or road tripping off of highway 20, stop by this place!! Read more
One of the best BBQ places in Abilene. They open at 11 and the line starts forming at 10:45 or earlier. They also have daily... specials that are different and keep their menu fresh. No indoor dining, but they?ve spent some time making a nice outdoor areawith lots of fans and misters for when it gets hot outside. Read more
I can only rate the brisket because that's all I had but it was 10/10. Excellent flavor, moist, and easy to eat with a fork. The... way brisket should be! Outdoor seating. Quick service. The only thing I don't like is how they have so few options for sides.I'd go for the brisket though for sure. Read more
This is what brisket is supposed to taste like. Very well cooked and seasoned. Sausage was good too. Ribs were well cooked but... could use more meat. Candy bacon was tasty even though I ordered burnt ends (There is a difference I wish they would of toldme). Everyone was friendly and line moved quickly. Read more
Love Jay?s so much! Their mac & cheese is my favorite in Abilene. Their ?pig candy? is incredible, their brisket is moist and... flavorful, and they always have the most unique, mouth-watering specials! I can?t wait to get my hands on a frito pie sausage, acheesecake chimichanga, and a jalapeño popper sausage ball! My only wish is that they were open for dinner too so we could makeit there more often! Read more
