The staff are so friendly and attentive from the moment you walk in the door. The atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming. The... manager approached us and was awesome! Really like him! The food however left a bit of a disappointment. It was cooked toperfection, it simply lacked the flavor and taste we expected. May have just been there on a day their best cook wasn't working.We will definitely go back, it's well worth a 2nd try! Read more
We really enjoyed our visit and food as well. Everything came out hot and tasted great. Thomas was by far the best server we've... had in a very long time anywhere. This guy deserves a raise!! My sister and I decided to go to Texas Roadhouse for a steak dinner. As we drove up it was a very clean and well taken care of... outside. We were promptly greeted and taken to our seats. Rolls and our tea were brought out quickly. We tried an appetizer ofrattlesnake bites. Pretty good, nice and cheesy with a crunchy outside. A bit greasy but okay. I ordered the 12 ounce Ribeyemedium with a house salad and a baked potato fully loaded. The ribeye was good. The center was not as good tasting as the capbut still good. The salad was very good and the baked potato was perfect. I honestly could have eat two of their potatoes. Yum!My sister ordered a 6 ounce filet medium with a house salad and a loaded sweet potato. The filet was perfectly cooked and tastedgreat. The sweet potato was delicious. She declared her meal a 100 percent success. The staff was courteous and discrete. Wenever needed a thing. The inside was typical chain restaurant decor for a western steak house. Could have used a dusting.Overall a really good experience and would recommend. Read more
I’ll start off by saying, I am a huge TXRH fan. From The Colony, TX, to Kissimmee, FL & Lubbock, TX. I love the brand. Service... was slow. It seemed like the kitchen was backed up, which is understandable! That place was packed! Got my Killer Ribs app after25 minutes of waiting finally, and decided to just get my entree togo. That took just as long unfortunately, but it was allgood, I expected my food to be absolutely delicious - so it was worth the wait, ya know? Well it wasn’t. I get back to myhotel, and I find that the salmon is hard, hardly seasoned, and dry. The mashed potatoes tasted like they were sitting in aburnt well for too long, and the lettuce for my Caesar salad was beginning to wilt/redden. During my visit, I found out they nolonger carry peanuts at this location. Strange, because Lubbock’s TXRH offers bags of peanuts, and even though they arecomplimentary there, I never mind paying for them. Just a highly unsatisfying visit overall. Paid $30 + tip, and all I had toeat was half of the side Caesar salad and the Killer Ribs app. Bartender was nice at least and got me a togo Dr.Pepper and a boxfor my bread. Read more
My wife and I and our two kids came to TX Roadhouse the last time a few months ago the service was nit great and the food was... mediocre at best. We decided to give TX Roadhouse another shot. The waitress didnt know a lot 9f things, they were Out of halfdozen beer types. Out of lettuce, Out of mayo, and who knows what else they were Out of. My wife and I ordered medium cookedsteak we got well done. I asked the waitress to bring me any beer except the Boston lager and what did I get? If you guessedBoston Lager you are correct! I can go on and on about everything that was bad but this should give you an idea. Bottom line...this used to he a good restaurant but it just been going down hill...needless to say, we will not be back here. Read more
Came here for our anniversary. A great ribeye on the bone and we were able to pick it out ourselves. Fun and yum! Update..... Decided to try the sirloin out today.. Delicious! Read more
Texas Roadhouse has wonderful food and service. My family took me here for Mother's Day and naturally there was a very long wait... since it was a holiday. While waiting, it allowed us to watch how they make their amazing homemade rolls. They have a case ofraw steaks and let you select your own steak by labeling it and cook it to perfection. I ordered Prime Rib which I have to admitwas overcooked and very dry. I have never sent back a steak so I reluctantly told the waiter who called his manager. She agreedright away and they brought me back the most amazing Prime Rib with horseradish sauce and I was one happy camper. Everyone oneof us enjoyed our steaks and were very happy with the food and service. Highly recommend eating here when in Abilene. Read more
Great place to have a steak or chicken fried chicken. The place is nice peanuts are now on a bag. The rolls are still great love... it. The waitress here was awesome very attentive she never left our table without knowing we are doing well. Recommend it forsure. Did go around 4pm so it was kinda slow good for us because we had awesome service. Read more
