This was my third time here and I had enjoyed it so decided to bring my hubby (who had never been). I was looking forward to the... smothered hotdogs and they were no longer on the menu. I got the chicken wrap special and it wasn't anything to write homeabout. Hubby got the Ruben burger, while good flavor he wasn't impressed. I wish we could've had more chips too. We walked in toa really empty dining room and it took our waitress 10 minutes to even say hello. She was talking to who I assume was the ownerat the front counter. I got the feeling she was new to the business because she didn't even introduce herself or write our orderdown. My hubby had water and I got sweet tea; he was offered refills, but I was not asked once (WHY! My glass was empty!) Ishouldn't have to ask for a refill, just do it. Overall, we will not be back. It's a sweet little diner with the expected retro flare that you can see from the outside decor. I haven't had a sit down meal... yet. The day I went was to pick up food really quickly before I started my evening shift. My only critique is they had very fewgf options. I ordered the burger without the bun & it was spectacular. Very juicy. Because I brought it home I just used my gfbuns from the store. I would have given this place 5 stars easy if I didn't have to supplement my meal. The staff is sweet. I'llbe back in soon. This place is amazing. I?m traveling from out of state and I wish we had Luke?s Cafe back home. Everything was delicious. The... chicken was off the chain ???? Awesome place to eat. Went with some friends and had the classic Luke burger...amazing! Also tried a bite of Reuben with... Pastrami and it was really good. Left with a very full and satisfied stomach. Loved the scenery inside and out and the staff wasawesome! Read more
I ordered a burger that came with homemade chips. The burger was excellent. The chips were actually cool to the touch and soggy.... Completely inedible. They were very busy and mistakes happen. I will certainly eat there again but I won't be ordering thechips. Read more
