I just want to start off by saying most of the food is usually good if you get it at its freshest. However it’s very insulting... reading the responses from the employer saying most people want unemployment and it’s hard to find people to work. I myselfhave worked there and the employers have absolutely no appreciation for their employees. They treat them very closely to toslaves. For the most part, from the time I worked until this day, they only seem to hire young high school kids to takeadvantage of. I think if they valued their employees more, they would have a better staff. It started off with them pridingthemselves with the fact that they were some how qualified to pay their employees less than minimum wage. Then I come from acouple years in the restaurant industry, they were very close minded people, with no restaurant experience themselves. They werevery belittling, I got sent home one day because “I wasn’t doing what I was told” and I had a difference in opinion withthe owner. The work was extensive for the young kids they had working. They did not follow a lot of important safety protocols.I just think they were not very attentive to the way the employees were treated keeping in mind the pay they made. Read more
The food was tasty. Just don't go here if you're hungry. 1 rib and 2 pieces of catfish &2sides for 25 bucks. The rib barely had... any meat on it as you see in the picture. Read more
The menu is overpriced for the portions received. Service was quick but I assume it was because there were no other customers... there waiting. I was told it would take 15 minutes but it was ready in 5. With that said, I do not see how the food is cooked toorder. We also asked for beef brisket with barbecue sauce on the side and she literally poured the sauce on the side of themeet. Typically “on the side” means sauce in a separate container. In addition, we asked for a pulled pork sandwich but ittasted like chopped brisket. I gave it 2 stars because the brisket did have a good taste but it didn’t agree with me and mystomach very well. After numerous times smelling the BBQ smoke coming from the back of the building, I decided to give them a try. I didn't read... the reviews before coming in, and I'm glad that I didn't. I ordered the wings and ribs which also came with fries andhushpuppies and they were all amazing. Every item came the way that someone would expect it. The wings had the right amount ofsmoke and were cooked to perfection. The ribs had a beautiful smoke ring throughout and the bark that was formed on top shouldbe put into a bag like chips and I would eat that all day, every day. Also, I ended up adding their banana pudding and justlike the previous food it did not disappoint. It is one of the best banana puddings I've had, with a custard like thickness yetfluffy. If I had the banana pudding and the rub bark in a bag like chips, I would be a very happy (and very large) person. Read more
