My waitress is awesome. I walk in, she sees me & my order is passed on to the cook. My coffee is hot & tasty. My ham Steak... and eggs are always cooked to perfection. Best burger I eaten since I arrived to Los Angeles a week ago. Sharlene, the waitress was very kind also. But my English is not... so good and I didn't understood that the 20% tip I tell her to take was not charged when she gave me the change in cash. So Ileft without leaving a tip and now I feel ashamed and stupid! To Sharlene and the cook, I don't know if you will read this, butmy total apologies because the meal was truly delicious and I swear you that if I could return to give that tip I would do itfor sure! We were looking for a breakfast spot near thousand trails rv park in Soladad canyon. We searched Google and found Crazy Otto's... nearby, so we decided to give them a try. They were not very busy and we were seated immediately, the waitress was at the tablein just a few minutes ready to take or drink order. We ordered coffee and then began studying the menu. They have a wideselection of normal breakfast items, and a few other interesting breakfast options. We made our choices and prepared our coffee.After a few minutes our food arrived. I had 2 eggs over medium with thick sliced bacon, hash browns, gravy and biscuits. Theeggs were cooked perfectly, also the bacon was cooked well, however it was not thick it was normal thickness and tough. It wasvery stringy. The hash browns were very hard, I asked for crispy, but these were way beyond crispy. I actually cut the roof ofmy mouth on them. They were much wider than normal hash browns, they looked like small pasta noodles, very greasy. The gravy wasawful it had a very strange flavor and was the consistency of wallpaper paste, I took 1 bite and I had enough. The biscuits wereplain no flavor and turned to crumbs when you touched them. Very disappointed in the meal. It was $17.50 and the coffee was$3.99 for the very small cup of which I was only offered 1 warm up. The coffee was good. My wife ordered waffles and eggs withsausage patties. She also ordered her eggs over medium and they were cooked correctly. The waffles were about 6" in diameter andlooked like a prepared waffle, they were very plain tasting and they were served cool, 4 small pats of fake butter that neverhad a chance to melt. The sausage was one larger patty that was very tough with a strange flavor. Another disappointment thatwas $17.50 plus the $3.99 coffee. We were offered only 1 warm up on the coffee and the waitress never checked back in with us.She brought the check as the meal was being served, never to be seen again. First time trying this place out. Was not fully convinced about AV's best breakfast. Prices are a bit high but portions make up... for it. They stuffed my to go order in one box and pancakes got all soggy with grease from the sausage and eggs. Also somepancakes were not fully cooked through. Read more
I?ve been going to Crazy Otto?s for years and tonight was the worst meal I have ever had. The steak was not good and had a bad... flavor to it and the shrimp was over cooked. The waitress was very polite service is always good there. Read more
Food is delicious and plentiful (a full omlette with potatoes and toast can make for breakfast and lunch, even for a big guy... like me). Staff is helpful, friendly, and efficient. Not the cheapest, but worth the money considering the portions. Read more
OMG! They have pozole!!! I so, loved it. Its better than Vallartas Super Market, pozole! Yummy ???? I had the weekend special,... Prime Rib and eggs! Their servings are good for 2 people. I had left overs for lunch and dinner. Come check it out. They have agoid menu layout!! Read more
