So when we first walked in everybody looked a little confused we finally got sat at an OK table. Our waitress was very friendly... and nice we ordered two Italian dishes. My meatball and eggplant I could not cut with a butter knife. Sauce was flavorful. SadlyI will not return. This is now our family?s go to Italian restaurant, very reasonable price, great food, surprisingly good service. My daughter... cried there once and the waiter came with a bag of toys for her to choose and take one home, it calmed her done immediately. Read more
Unfortunately, Filho's was really awful. Our party first noticed that it was very empty as we walked in. We weren't sure as to... why this was because we did go during lunch time on Saturday. However we soon found out why this was the case. When we sat downon the patio one of our members was in the sun on a very hot day. Because of this we decided to move a space heater when no onecame to our table. (I'm not sure why they have heaters in the summer). However, when we were moving the heater a man who Iassume is the owner came out and was very rude. Not only was the service terrible but the food was too. We ordered many dishesand all of them seemed to be frozen. The pasta dishes had water that must have been from the freezer. The only dish that didn'thave a large water puddle, we had to send back because it tasted completely bland and flavorless. This was very disappointingbecause I have never sent back a dish in my life. I have lots of experience eating from hole in the wall restaurants to finedining, Michelin Star restaurants. I really hope that Filho's gets a new menu and owner. Edit: I am giving this review to helppotential customers and the restaurant itself. It is a shame to see how the owner has reacted to the review and is unable toreceive customer critique. The patio heater had wheels on which we were rolling it. His reaction was completely unnecessary andgoes to show how he runs the restaurant. Read more
The Chicken Marsala was very good. It was cooked perfectly. The sauce was light and not over seasoned. The flavors from... ingredients were the star. Read more
Such a great lunch experience! Owner and staff were awesome and very friendly (shared Papa Gino's stories from the 80s, lol).... The beet salad was terrific as well as the lasagna. I had the pasta nolla (?) Which was excellent. Read more
