First time, wasn't bad. Smoked meat was tender and the sandwich was packed. Not sure what was going on with the cornbread.... Tasted old, like it was premade and refrigerated. Overall not bad and would probably try other things another time. Read more
Just tried their Lunch Combo meal - smoked chicken sandwich with fries and a side of coleslaw. Was amazing! The sweet smokey BBQ... sauce they have I might have to see if they sell in a jar! I've been here several times. During this visit the restaurant appeared to be clean. The staff was friendly. Someone in my... party received the wrong food. They replaced it immediately with the right food. There is metal ducts running along the ceilingwhich were dripping water. We had to move to another table. All the food tasted good. Decent BBQ for lunch. Tried the Pork Plate with two sides and a drink, expect to pay around $16.
Pulled pork had no flavor, three meat platter was very small in portions and overpriced, barbecue sauce has no flavor in the... hot and mild. For the same price go to big shanty smokehouse. Read more
Disgusting food. The meat was wet and rubbery. It was like school cafeteria meat. The greens, which is a dish I would normally... love, were so soft and soggy and liquid, with a chemical aftertaste. The cornbread was a cornbread pancake. No soft center.Seems it's meant to be a little crispy since it's browned all over but this had turned kinda soggy and the dryer areas werecrumbly. The stew, however, was delicious, and I would have been happy if I only ordered that, but I ordered the stew as a sideitem. So, even though I was hungry, I will be throwing the rest away and eating leftovers from the fridge instead. Feel like Ithrew away $30. Also, the desert item I ordered never arrived. Read more
