I had my 20th birthday cake custom made here and let me just say... IT WAS FANTASTIC! Not only did it look absolutely stunning,... it tasted GREAT! It was a chocolate cake with peanut butter frosting and the taste was absolutely divine. I will DEFINITELYorder again in the future! Read more
The baked goods were great! We had a sandwich and soup for lunch. It wasn't out of this world, but was very good. Very clean... nice little place. A tad pricey but a small business owner has to be to get by. The historic old downtown building is worth thevisit alone! This girl is preserving a downtown building and living her dream! I had an awful experience with ambers sweet shoppe. If you are going there to get a wedding cake, i would be very careful. I put... a deposit down and all of the info they needed to make my cake and the day of my wedding my mom went to pick it up and it wasn?tdone. I called the shop and they preceded to tell me it was my fault that i didn?t call and make sure they were still making itor they didn?t know what they were supposed to make. Anyways, the lady was very unprofessional and charged us full price for alate wedding cake that looked horrible to say the best. It also was very dry. I asked for a refund because i didn?t want thecake at all but they said they couldn?t do that because already had started it. Lol. This was my experience and maybe they had abad day, but the least they could have done was give a discount. So if you want a wedding cake, don?t go here. Seriously youcould make a better tasting and looking one from scratch. Read more
1st experience and it was delicious. I loved the maple bacon cinnamon roll. The sausage rolls were also delicious. Very clean... and well displayed store on the inside. Plenty of room in the store and places to sit and eat. Read more
Really 0 stars don't go for lunch. Tuna sandwich so salty (who puts extra salt in already salty tuna) on a crossiant that had be... left over from last week. If you are a Bakery then don't serve less than fresh baked goods. Very disappointed I should have hada clue at 12:30 and I was the only person in there. The cookie was ok but the one I got to go was also days old, dry and stale.Total waste of $10.00. Read more
