Fried Pickles were delicious. We got the special crab legs. Delicious! Plan on trying more of their menu later.
For sure a local watering hole and lots of local specialties on the menu. Love the eclectic nature of mix matched chairs, salt... & pepper shakers and even side plates. Good curb appeal, with a good selection of beer on draft. Had to leave a star off, asmy prime rib was dry and stiff. Felt like a left over from last week. None of it was soft or very warm. From out of town. Wait was half the time we were told. Fried pickles were great. I got the steak Philly and my wife got the... French Dip. This was amazing sirloin and not shaved beef. The wife had the Brussels sprouts with bacon jam?. The best she hasever had! Definitely 5 stars! Read more
small place with decent wait times. waitress was pleasant. side salad was a nice portion. the brussels sprouts side was very... small. the kids enjoyed the chicken and waffles. the bottle caps appetizer was plentiful (fried pickled jalapeños served withranch sauce). the shrimp po boy wrap was standard. nice family atmosphere. We came here not knowing the area at all after the funeral of a our Uncle Michael Sutton. We brought family from Chicago,... Minneapolis, NYC, Indiana, Kentucky and Washington state. We are all a bunch of foodies who needed a great meal and a time tocelebrate the life of a man we honored and loved. We were greeted by the owners MJ and Candace who were made aware of oursituation. We were served by Sophie who is AMAZING. She took on our table of 15 and we didn?t have a single problem WITHANYTHING!! The food?yes THE FOOD!!! WE HAD EVERYTHING from oysters to wings to ahi tuna, shrimp and grits, chicken livers. Allof that was our conversation for the evening. Excellent!!! Interesting place. Definitely a local spot. I am surprised it?s not called ?The Water Tower Bar and Grille? as the bar is the... focal point and there isn?t any separation from the dining area. The food was overall okay. I had the pimento cheese and baconburger and a strawberry salad. The burger was a touch greasy and my salad had feta instead of blue cheese (which is what I wasexpecting with strawberries) but still good. The service however, was exceptional!!
