Jack of all Trades, Master of a few. Becky?s Sugar Shack seems to really have a large menu and that only seems to hurt it in the... long run. Although they have amazing, undisputed lunches and desserts, such as there Reuben Sandwiches and their chocolateeclairs; Becky?s Sugar Shack falters by trying to also appease to morning diners with their breakfast which is definitely nottheir strong suit. Their ?Shack Browns? have a good amount of fix ins in it. But they pile a LOT of garlic in it as well. Andtheir Biscuits and Gravy are not super enjoyable, and especially when they are cold from how high the AC is cranked in theplace. 4 out of 5. There are so many good things at Becky?s. The lunches, the desserts, the coffee isn?t bad either and it?sall at an affordable price! They have an amazing aesthetic inside and a very homely atmosphere that feels unique toAdams! However, I have two gripes. The fact they use a shower curtain to hide the kitchen from view which is kind of gross andunprofessional, and if you are looking to go get breakfast from a diner, you are better going anywhere else in Adams for asignificantly higher quality breakfast. Excellent quality food and ice cream and many other sweet choices. Prices are very reasonable for such good homemade food. ... Chicken dumplings soup is beyond awesome and on sale everyday among other good priced specials. If you haven?t stopped here it?sa must and if your passing thru it?s conveniently located so a stop won?t be regretted. They do get busy so don?t mistake asmall wait on some days they take care that your happy and satisfied and that?s worth more than a fast food experience. Read more
Such a cute and charming shop! Adams Friendship is about as far from a big city as you can get, but despite it's surroundings... Becky's Sugar Shack has a beautiful, warm dining area and shop. Much bigger inside than you would expect, and they make the mostof the space with dozens of different types of snacks, breads, and desserts for both dine in and take out. Can't wait for mynext trip through town to try more of the menu! Read more
I had the Italian Beef Melt... Literally I groaned when I took my first fee bites. Absolutely delicious! The reason I am giving... just 4 out of 5 is... 1) my friends salad had browning lettuce. 2) they didn't come to the table to take the order. Other thanthat the ambiance was fabulous.
