Wow! We just love this place! It?s bright and cheerful, with friendly and quick service. The food is fresh, plentiful and... delicious. Also quite reasonably priced at around $50.00 for three of us. I always get the Pollo San Jose; a chicken breast,shrimp, scallops rice and a large dice vegetable medley. Fantastic! Read more
The quality of the food is going down here, it wasn't all that great the 1st time so I decided to give them another chance,... ordered the fijatas, not only was the meat way overcooked they again forgot the guac! The food was very bland. Will not return. Read more
My MIL has been ordering from here for a while. While SHE loves the food (she orders the same thing EVERY SINGLE TIME and has... never tasted good Mexican food), she hasn't been complaining to the restaurant about her orders. We decided to order from Josesat her suggestion while we were visiting her in Wisc. Here's our take-aways from our order... PROS: 1. the person taking ourphone order was pleasant and very helpful since we didn't have a menu in front of us. 2. order was ready quickly & hot when wepicked it up. 3. while we ordered dinners for 3 people, it was somewhat reasonable as restaurant prices are going up everywhere($60+). CONS: 1. order wasn't double bagged and leaked everywhere since one of the dishes was wet & smashed in its containerand was tipped in the bag upon receipt. We had a 30+ min drive home and the bag had a hole in it, so the wet dish leaked allover our backseat. 2. while my MIL isn't Hispanic, I am, and know the difference between bad, meh and great Mexican food. a.ordered a chile relleno and it wasn't fully cooked, too much cheese sauce, not enough red sauce that it's usually cooked in, andwas not tasty at all. b. ordered enchilada verde... rice & beans were good, enchilada was just ok. No flavor in the chickenwhatsoever and verde sauce had no flavor as well. Not even a little spicy. c. ordered beef chimichanga (sp?). While small insize, it didn't have too much taste. Beans & rice were good. d. ordered a cheese enchilada (MIL's order) and it was very lightin cheese. Beans & rice were good. e. ordered guacamole. Size was really small for 3 people, but it tasted like old avocados andsomething was a bit off in it's taste. f. guacamole came with tortilla chips which were very old and not crunchy at all. Weended up throwing them all away since they weren't good at all. g. we asked for hot salsa to go with the order. Food was great. The service was even BETTER. We were served so fast I almost got whiplash. We had special food requests and they... were met without a hassle and with a smile. Everyone was so friendly. Everything was great well worth the 45 minute drive. WeWILL be back. Read more
Reasonable prices, the food is always fresh! Even though it is now new management and mostly new employer is it still the great... same menu and service that we?ve come to expect. Will continue to frequent hear Often, and not just because Adams County is Asecluded black hole of nothingness where we don?t get anything nice and if we do it?s not for very long. Food was served hot and fresh, Service was great. I really was sticker shocked when I saw the prices of their margaritas ????... but they came in small, med, lg and pitcher and they had both alcohol and non alcohol sizes. I settled on a med and mom settledon a small. When they came out I thought they made a mistake with mine and gave me a lg and mom a med but nope. Man are looksdeceiving. I had all I could do to finish mine and mom couldn't finish hers at all. Great food and great margaritas ???? andworth the price. I highly recommend and will be back again Read more
