Breakfast was good. My only complaint is that there was onions in the creamed chipped beef. I've never heard of onions being in... creamed chipped beef before n they were so overpowering that even my bf who loves onions even said it got sickening. Kind ofbummed me out bc ur place is 1 of the only places that uses real chipped beef n not the chipped beef loaf. I think the creamchipped beef wld be excellent if the onions are left out. Read more
Went there quite often for breakfast,during the week and weekends. Breakfast was always good except the potatoes which were just... so so. The last time we went there we went inside on a Sunday morning after reading the sign? seat yourself ? so we went in andsaw 2 empty booths and headed for one when we were stopped by one of the waitresses who ask us ? who told you to come in? ? Isaid sign says seat yourself and there are 2 empty booths. Waitress said table isn?t set up yet so go out and sign the book andwait till we call you. I said why don?t you chang the sign,so she changed it to ? wait to be seated? that was enough so we leftcause I can go and spend my money elsewhere and not be served by a rude waitress.left there and went to the cloister restaurantin Ephrata. This place is a gem! We moved to the town recently and have eaten here so many times already. Everything we have had has been... nothing short of amazing. My favorite is the BLT. They don?t take cash but have an ATM on site so not a big deal. I recommendtrying it out! Read more
Best diner in town by far. Home made soups (mushroom soup) and great menu. Give them a try
We were first time diners coming to the area to see antiques. We love cute diners and this one was great! Don't judge the... outside as we almost did. Did not look inviting lack of curb appeal sort of worn appearance. But inside is very clean. Bathroomsvery clean!! First time I ever ate baked oatmeal! It was Soo good! My boyfriend had bacon eggs and home fries which weredelicious. We are from Bethlehem and will be coming back soon for sure! Thanks to the cook for the good food and the staff foryour excellent work. It was my first time here and I was pleasantly surprised! For an older diner, the place was very clean and the food was good!... The waitresses were very nice, the prices reasonable and there were 2 very good looking men dining at the same time. (???? Itwas a nice added bonus.) Sparkling clean, delicious fresh home cooked food, great price, and a super friendly, upbeat, excellent wait staff. So glad we... stopped in here for breakfast. If you are in town antique-ing, it is right across from Mad Hatter and next door to AdamstownAntique Mall. Oh, and it is much larger inside than it appears from the road. Read more
Great local diner with counter seating and both seats. The food was OK. The oatmeal was awesome with raisins, milk, and brown... sugar. The creamed chip beef was very bland for being one of their menu advertised top sellers. Salt and pepper helped. Thestaff works very hard here and are very quick with getting you what you need.
