I've been here a few times over the last couple of months and now that I know about Mario's I'll certainly be coming back. For... lunch I've been getting the Italian sub sandwich. It's packed full of meat and the 11 inch is truly a huge sandwich. Wellcertainly not the least expensive place in the suburbs, a sandwich drink and chips are almost 17 bucks, but if you're lookingfor a good sandwich it's worth it. Read more

Today was my first time visiting this deli meeting friends for lunch. The tuna salad sandwich I ordered was too bland; it could... have used some celery perhaps or a bit of green onions. My to go order,on the other hand, was excellent! The Italian beefsandwich was plentiful and with the sweet peppers, one of the best my husband had. The Italian sausage sandwich was very tastyand again seasoned just right and plentiful. I'll definitely will be back to try additional menu items. Read more
Family owned Italian Style deli that's been around for years. Both hot and cold sandwiches, fresh salads, hot soup. The Italian... dishes are great, I'm particularly fond of the Meat Lasagne and the Joey, which is a solid Italian Sub. Change up and try theChicken Salad Sandwich, it's not Italian but it IS super tasty. And don't forget a Cannoli or a Cookie for dessert too. Read more
This place is a hidden gem . Right off of lake street and 53. I?ve been coming here since I was 10 years old with my dad.... Haven't been in quite some time so I decided to try it again. Well the experience was great. The owner is extremely gracious andpolite , the lady preparing my food got everything correct and made sure that I had everything needed for my order . And thenwhen I left 10 minutes later they call me to tell me that my card had somehow been double charged and that I was more thanwelcome to come back and get the cash or a gift card or put it on the debit card, he left the decision completely up to me. Noonly did I appreciate the honesty , but I also appreciated the transparency and ability to give excellent customer service . Ihave to say I?m impressed, and the food is just wonderful. Best Subs around and the meatballs (a picture speaks a thousand words)... Also take and bake pizza with imported pizza crust. ... Everything is fresh and made from scratch! Do yourself a favor RUN don't walk to Mario's Deli for the best lunch around! Amazing CATERING menu as well! Read more
I had a slice of lasagna.. really good.. sauce was good.. BUT the center was still cold.. they must keep it cold and nuke it... when ordered.. shame.. should be fresh... owell.. would have done 5 stars but not when centers cold.... Read more
