Genghis Grill has one of those awkward set ups where you have a waiter but they don?t really do much for you since you have to... go through a line and put your own ingredients together into a bowl and bring them to the grill. You have the opportunity to tiptwice, and surprisingly, because there is a tip jar at the grill, as well as a line to tip on your receipt. i?m guessing theydon?t share tips with the cooks. Regardless, their protein selection is very good, although they no longer have scallops. Andthey do a good job keeping the place clean. Portion size is pretty small for the price and you will leave hungry if all you getis the regular $17 bowl. I ended up getting my order to go because I couldn?t log onto the Wi-Fi despite their friendly staff?sbest efforts. Read more
The food itself was pretty good, mainly because of the decent variety of choices to choose from. I have to say I am not a fan of... scanning the menu from the QR code on the table and having to order and pay through my phone. For the time it took the server tohelp us navigate through it, she could have more easily taken our order, which was basically several large build your own bowlsbut I understand it is a corporate decision to have the guests order that way to alleviate staffing issues. There are lots of good options for food in Addison and I always come back here for 2 reasons. First one is because of Shontique.... In the service industry myself, I can appreciate an employee that goes above and beyond to provide great customer service and apositive experience EVERY time. She also makes the best margaritas (with a sprinkle of love) on the strip. The other reason isbecause the food is really good! Read more
Best food I had while in Dallas. I could pick out all my ingredients and seasonings and when I let the chef know that I had... allergies, he was gracious enough to keep my bowl separated from others.Next time I'm in Dallas I'm definitely visiting thisplace. Read more
Delicious ???? My boyfriend had never tried out this restaurant, so we decided to give it an opportunity. He was so glad that we... stopped at this place! I really enjoyed eating at this location as it was not packed. The food was fresh, and cooked perfectly.The waitress was excellent as well. She was so friendly and attentive to my boyfriend and I. She wanted to make sure we weren?tconfused as to how their process worked. We each got the build our own bowl and packed it with chicken, shrimp, sausage,vegetables, sauces and spices, tofu? we just packed the bowl to the brim and enjoyed it with rice and noodles. We went here with coworkers and we thought it was a good experience. This is an Asian fusion restaurant located between Midway... and Belt Line. Plate sizes are large, my advice is to go for the small plate as it's enough to satisfy a regular customer. Ithought it was a bit more expensive than I expected but I guess that you pay for freshly prepared food. Food was VERY good. The sauce really made it amazing. I got a small bowl and it was still a lot of food. 4 stars instead of 5... because the bathroom was absolutely disgusting. If I would have seen the bathroom before I placed my order, I would have noteaten here. Read more
