This place was AMAZING. A little on the more expensive side but well worth it. A little over $20 for half a dozen oysters from... St. Edward's Island and easily the best I've had. Every single dish was amazing from the mac and cheese...my husband got thesurf and turf...I got the fish and chips. Our new favorite place! The small plate of meatballs in a brown gravy was a great appetizer. Fresh flounder was cooked... perfectly. Hungarian mushroom soup was without a doubt the best soup I have had in years. Very rich flavor, a great beef base. To call what we had for dessert "banana pudding" is an insult. Fantastic experience. The steak frites was the star of the show and the voodoo sauce is spectacular. The fish and chips and... crispy asparagus are also noteworthy. Atmosphere is cozy and unique although a little loud. Reservation and seating system coulduse some tweaking but after eating it won’t even be a concern. Honestly I would give NHS a 4.5 ???? Fun place witg lots going on in that shopping area, parking might take a bit longer than... anticipated. We arrived early on a Saturday evening (540) the bar was packed and the dining area was almost full as well. It washopping. Huge bar, great selection of drinks. 2oz pours. For dinner my wife had the halibut special and I had the short ribenchiladas. ???? we also split an iceberg wedge salad. Service was delightful, food was delicious.
