Friendly staff and clean dining. I had the steak street tacos that were pretty tasty. I know the price for everything has gone... up and will probably keep going up. So I was in the mood for an early lunch. Didn't really want anything heavy but had a craving for something savory. Then I... remembered that there was a nice quaint little Mexican restaurant just as you head into Monkey Island.. " Changos Locos"! Nowwhen I say "This was some of the best Mexican food I've ever eaten!"..I mean just that! The breakfast burrito was so good that Idecided to order the pork belly tacos for lunch. To go of course. Delicious! The food was so fresh, that It I could taste thesunshine in the vegetables used. So if you happen to look over and see this place on your way to your destination, and for somereason, don't stop to eat.. Well.. You're cheating yourself. I promise you'll enjoy ever bite. First...I would definitely give this restaurant more than 5 stars if I could! Absolutely amazing food. This place is quaint... (hole in the wall). They have a limited food selection however, everyone's favorites are there. The owner makes the meatsfresh everyday! Who does that any more? So, you choose from the list of available meats to add to your favorite menu item. Weboth had the chorizo and it was perfect. I ordered the quesadillas and my husband the breakfast burrito! Yummy! My girlfriend and I were driving through Oklahoma and we stopped off at this Mexican restaurant. We heard good things about the... restaurant so we had to try it. The food and service was exceptional!! I highly recommend you try this place. All the foodlooked good, but I had to get my favorite: a carne asada taco and a chicken burrito. Pros: Food is really good. Like, restore your life energy good. Cons: Owner can't seem to decide when they want to be open. Of... the last 6 or 7 times that I've tried to get food there (and Google shows them being "Open") I have only successfully gottenfood once. Last week it said they were open for a few hours during dinner (they weren't). This week the hours have changed,showing that they are supposed to open at 9am (they aren't). It's disheartening to call or come by when you guys are supposed tobe open and... nothing. If the food wasn't so good, I'd have probably stopped by now. Read more
