I will try to make this review as constructive for the owner(s) as possible. We need more restaurants around the lake, so I want... y'all to improve. I am a good cook. I know what good food tastes like and what cheap food tastes like. First I'd like to sayyour appetizers were great, (spicy cheese curds and wontons). But your mushroom and swiss burger. Oh man. The menu stated theburger has "grilled mushrooms". They were from a jar. Don't do this. Buy fresh mushrooms! Next, the patty, I am notexaggerating, was of the school cafeteria variety. You're not fooling anyone. Just make your own hamburger patties. Don't usethe cheap ones from the food supplier. Dairy queen (not good) has a better burger patty. Read more

I live nearby so stop here every week or two. Most of the food is really good - especially the fried pickles! Really every... appetizer is delicious. The drinks are great - try the cherry limeade (alcohol). The service is hit or miss - sometimes you canbe there with 5-10 customers and wait an hour plus, sometimes the place is packed and the food comes quickly. In general, ifyou are in a hurry, I recommend asking the staff for an estimate on when the food will arrive (and then add 15 minutes ????).If you have time to chill and visit, go and enjoy the amazing bartenders and the fun, industrial atmosphere or the outdoorentertainment like cornhole or volleyball. 1st time to visit The Drunken Rooster. I cannot say enough about this place. Great atmosphere! Friendly and attentive... staff! Great food! Clean restrooms! The band, RockfiscH played. They are AMAZING! If you want a great evening, stop inhere!!!!! It also has sand volleyball, cornhole, fire pit, etc. Just an all around great place!!! *** The cherry on topwas the 13 year old young gentleman that was helping fill drinks and clean tables. I watched him for about 45 minutes workinghis tail off. I finally stopped him when he was clearing the dishes off our table. He is the most respectful, well mannered,sweet young teenager. His name is Bradley. The sweetest and hard working young man that i have seen in a long time. Hewon me over as being my favorite busboy ever!!!! We even talked to his Beautiful Mother and praised her for doing an AMAZINGjob raising him!!!! Go in and ask for Bradley!! He will brighten your whole day! Read more
