FRESH FOOD AT REASONABLE COST!! One of my favorite fast food places. l say fast food only because their FRESHLY cooked rice,... beans and (with in MINUTES of you ordering) the GRILLED chicken are all ready for you to pick up and enjoy. No "pre-cooked orcanned" food here. Sometimes the drive thru has a long line but that's what you get if you want it fresh. l order ahead thrutheir Mobile App and often get great deals. The Staff is helpful and thoughtful. Mistakes with my weekly to go order, occasionalhappens and they're nice to correct, with no other issues but an immediate reminder when l go back. l have tried their new beefbirria choices, its ok if you like beef. But for now, l will stick with my usual grilled chicken choices. Enjoy! Read more
Poor customer service.some of the employees are very rude and unperofesional. They never greet to you.Just look at you.They... don't do any thing just walking or working really slowly.It's funny.I don't know who hire them. Last time I was there for takingout and ask for help from a man who had a headset.He told me just give me a second.He was free but didn't care. Finally after 5min a lady helped me. Was very excited to eat at El Pollo Loco because the last time we were in Cali we enjoyed the food at the one in Temecula, CA.... The sides were excellent, rice and corn, however, the chicken was dry which is super disappointing. We ordered a side of mac andcheese and it was more cheese than pasta so wouldn't order that at all. My husband ordered the queso burrito and thought it wasokay. Needless to say we won't be returning. Read more
I ordered the double chicken tostada with no beans and no rice. It was good, the chicken was a little dry but the dressing made... up for it. I got the chicken tortilla soup and it was descent too, but filled me up. The chips and guacamole was good too. It?s a fast food restaurant so I didn?t expect much but it was still a solid drive thru eating experience. Read more
I usually stop at this location to have lunch or dinner on Sundays after a bike ride, the place is usually not crowded and has... sufficient help to provide good customer service. The food is consistently good. The dinning room is ample and always clean.Since the pandemic, they no longer have their home made salsa bar but they have diferent types of prepackaged salsa that theywill provide upon request. I don't know what's up with the location. I came one day and got a fajita burrito, it was huge. But the meat was wrong, it was... spongy, slimey, chewy, gross. I usually get the $5 burrito combo, I know the cheap burrito and the expensive burritos usedifferent meats, white vs dark. So I thought man I haven't had a white meat burrito from EPL in a long time let me treat myself, but it was bad, was it one bad burrito, is the white meat always this gross? IDK... So I came back today. Gross again,idk what this meat is, it's in blocks, slimy, chewy, gross. I added some pics. Two times I came and both times it was gross,not coming back here. The EPL close to my house does not have this problem they have good meat. I go to EPL alot, this is theonly one that I have seen with this gross meat problem. I drive 1.5 to 2 hours to get home, this spot was convenient becauseit's halfway home, but it's gross, if I want EPL I'll just wait until I get home, ill be extra hungry! Enjoy the fast services of their grill chicken which is consistent across So. Cal. The to go salsa cups are so tiny and need to... ask for many of them each time when I need to buy a family meal or something bigger. They should consider using largercontainers to reduce waste and improve operation efficiency and customer experience. Read more
